Hey, I'm Christian.

I'm a pretty busy dude. By day, I'm a Senior Software Engineer at BMI, where I do hardcore functional programming in Scala to solve complex data engineering problems. By night, I'm building side projects, contributing to open source, writing articles, and doing way too much React. Ultimately, I do a bit of everything.

More About Me

Despite all the functional data stuff at work, I'm a huge React and React Native nerd in my free time—so much so that I've done stupid things like build signal-based React alternatives and JavaScript frameworks that no one should ever use (but if you're curious, here's the link).

My current pet project is Splix, an AI bookmark manager I hacked together to deal with my own inability to keep track of anything I find online (thanks to my internet addiction). Apparently I'm not alone, though, because somehow Splix has naturally grown to over 1,000 users.

I also like to write. Every once in a while, I put together technical and educational articles for Sloth Bytes, a tech newsletter with over 50,000 subscribers, which feels kinda cool. If you visit the articles section of my website, you'll see some of the raw, uncut versions of what I've written for them, as well as some of my other writings.
